Salpaus receives strong positive feedback from working life
Koulutuskeskus Salpaus has once again received strong positive feedback in the national working life feedback, which gathers experiences from workplaces on their collaboration with vocational education and training providers.
In 2024, more than 1,600 workplaces that hosted Salpaus students through either training agreements or apprenticeship training responded to the workplace surveys, which are part of the working life feedback system. The number of responses remained high, as in the previous year. The response rate, adjusted for the duration of students’ workplace periods, was 58% (2023: 55%).
Once again in 2024, we received more responses to the workplace survey than any other vocational education provider in Finland. This reflects the close cooperation we have with companies of all sizes. A heartfelt thank you to every workplace that took the time to respond.

Smooth collaboration appreciated by workplaces
Workplaces rated their cooperation with Salpaus highly in the workplace survey. The overall average score improved slightly from the previous year, reaching 4.16 (2023: 4.13), adjusted for the length of workplace learning periods. These scores are based on a 1-to-5 scale.
At Salpaus, the responses to the workplace survey are closely monitored and actively used in the development and management of operations.
Broad collaboration with the working life
Each year, Salpaus engages in diverse cooperation with approximately 4,000 workplaces of various sizes. The working life feedback is used to monitor the experiences and satisfaction of employers with the education provider’s operations.
The survey questions focus on everyday partnership, customer-oriented operations, the agreement process, and the guidance and support offered to workplaces by the education provider.
