Page updated on 20.5.2026 at 09:21
Salpaus Further Education strives to ensure the accessibility of its website salpaus.fi in accordance with the Act on the Provision of Digital Services.
This statement is based on the accessibility audit carried out on 6–7 November 2025, checks performed with accessibility testing tools, the tester’s assessment, and a post-correction assessment. The post-correction assessment is based on corrections reported by the website supplier and the service provider.
This statement was prepared on 7 November 2025. It was last updated on 20 May 2026.
Accessibility status
This website mostly meets the level A and AA requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2.
Non-accessible content
The website is not yet fully compliant with all accessibility requirements.
Attachments
The website contains links to attachments, such as PDF files, not all of which are fully accessible.
If you need the content of a PDF file in an accessible format, you can request it through the accessibility feedback channel.
Contrast of user interface elements
Some user interface elements in embedded forms may not have sufficient contrast against the background. This mainly concerns embedded forms whose styles are not controlled directly by the website’s own style sheets.
WCAG 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast
Date picker calendar function
The date picker calendar function in some forms may not be fully operable with a keyboard. Users can enter the date manually, but the keyboard accessibility of the calendar component has not been fully verified.
WCAG 2.1.1 Keyboard
Language of parts
Some content that is in a language different from the main language of the page, such as English project names or headings, cannot always be programmatically marked with the correct language. This may cause screen readers to read the text with incorrect pronunciation.
WCAG 3.1.2 Language of Parts
Form error messages
Some form error messages may not be sufficiently specific in all situations. The user may not always be told which field contains an error or what needs to be corrected. This mainly concerns forms whose functionality comes from a CRM system or a form plugin.
WCAG 3.3.1 Error Identification
Form instructions and required field indicators
Some required field indicators, instructions or placeholder texts in forms may still be unclear. This may make forms more difficult to complete, especially for screen reader users and users who need clear field-specific instructions.
WCAG 3.3.2 Labels or Instructions
